The SMART Table comes with the SMART Table Toolkit, a resource that helps you create a limitless supply of activities on your computer. It is easy to customize ready-made activities to suit your needs. For example, take a multiple choice activity on North American animals and change the images to tigers, elephants, lions and gazelles to create an African animal exercise. ou can download ready-made SMART Table activities from our educator resources web page. These activities correspond with the SMART-created SMART Notebook lesson activities and SMART Response question sets. They can be modified to meet your specific lesson needs. New activities and applications are added regularly.

Use it with the SMART Board interactive whiteboard…

To optimize both whole-class and small-group learning, the SMART Table is an excellent complement to the SMART Board interactive whiteboard. For instance, when teaching a lesson, you could first introduce a concept on the interactive whiteboard with all students, then reinforce it through group work on the SMART Table. For example, reinforce a geography lesson started on the interactive whiteboard with a mapping activity for smaller groups on the SMART Table. The interactive learning center's screen could then be projected on the interactive whiteboard for the whole class to see.
