We are seeking qualified Teaching Practitioners with recent experience of teaching and a willingness to take on challenges that include selling Educational Technology products. To succeed in this role you will have an excellent understanding of the Education as well as an understanding or willingness to learn and advocate, about other Education technology products that can integrate into a 21st Century digitally enabled learning environment

The Role
In your capacity as an Education Consultant, you will join a team of qualified teaching practitioners that service the education market. Selling educational technology solutions that include the global market-leading SMART Board interactive whiteboards, video conferencing and a range of complementary hardware and software products that aid teaching and learning, your focus will be to grow sales revenue in existing accounts and to develop new accounts.
Within a defined territory of schools and TAFEs, this position entails building and maintaining valued customer relationships, providing a consultative and supportive approach to educating how technology can enhance learning, and ensuring solutions, in particular SMART Notebook software and video conferencing, are utilised effectively to improve teaching and learning outcomes.

The Expectations
You are a self-driven, high energy, qualified teaching practitioner with a good understanding of the integration of ICT into teaching and learning environments and current educational pedagogy. You have excellent planning, organisational, presentation, computer and communication skills. You will thrive on being able to operate autonomously yet contribute as part of a team. Self motivation and high personal standards will set you apart from the pack and ensure your ongoing success. This role involves travel throughout the metro area and some regional travel may also be required.
Experience with the integration and use of SMART Notebook software and video conferencing in the classroom will be highly regarded as will a track record of sales/account management in education.
