What is a SMART BUG?

A SMART BUG is a SMART Board User Group (BUG for short) organised and sponsored by ELECTROBOARD. User Groups have been set up to provide teachers using SMART Boards extra professional support in order to gain maximum benefit from the technology in the classroom.

The purpose of a SMART BUG is to:

  • Facilitate the sharing of SMART Board best practices
  • Provide an opportunity for educators to gather resources and improve their skills
  • Allow educators to network with other SMART Board Users and become a part of the rapidly expanding community of interactive educators
  • Provide basic, intermediate and advanced SMART Board training.

SMART Board User Groups (BUGS) are a great chance for teachers to learn new skills and network with other schools in the region using SMART equipment. They are held every term and focus on quality professional development and supporting teachers to successfully integrate these technologies into the classroom, showcasing the latest technology.

SMART BUGs are free events and anyone is welcome to attend. Please use the links below to find the next SMART BUG in your region and to register for a SMART BUG.
